What has the mfg'r said in regards to the UV resistance ability of the proposed material? While there have been improvements in this technology, I do see a fair number of newer cars in SoCal that have fogged/yellow headlight covers. If this product is only good for a limited period (say 5 years for the sake of this argument), where's the benefit of going to these vs. staying with glass? The fogging will cause worse lighting performance which negates the point of these lenses in the first place.
For prospective customers, it would be helpful to know what kind of testing and research has gone into it.
